Sometimes life becomes more than we know how to manage on our own.

Perhaps you’re going through a difficult relationship, grieving someone you’ve lost, struggling with anxiety or finding yourself at a crossroads in life.

Maybe you’ve spent years being the strong one, looking after everyone else, and now you’re wondering where you fit into your own life.

Or perhaps you simply don’t feel like yourself anymore.

You don’t have to wait until everything falls apart before asking for support.

A Personalised & Compassionate Approach to Counselling

With over 25 years of experience working with people, I understand that no two people arrive at counselling with the same story, challenges or needs.

I also know how much courage it can take to open up about the things you’ve been carrying, particularly when you’ve spent years being the strong one.

My priority is to create a safe, compassionate and non-judgemental environment where you feel genuinely heard, understood and respected.

There’s no pressure to share anything before you’re ready, and no expectation that you need to have everything figured out.

My approach is integrative, which means I draw on different counselling approaches, mindfulness, emotional awareness and practical strategies depending on what you’re experiencing and what will be most helpful for you.

Some sessions may involve difficult conversations and emotions. Others may be about finding clarity, recognising patterns or discovering a different way forward.

We’ll work together at a pace that respects your needs, with compassion, honesty and practical support along the way.

How I Can Support You

01

Anxiety, Stress & Emotional Overwhelm

When your mind won’t switch off, you’re constantly worrying or everyday life feels overwhelming, counselling can help you understand what’s happening and develop healthier ways to respond.

Together, we can work on reducing the impact of anxiety, managing stress and building greater emotional confidence.

02

Grief, Loss & Life Transitions

Grief isn’t always about losing someone we love.

It can also come with the end of a relationship, changes in our health, children leaving home, retirement or realising that life hasn’t unfolded the way we imagined.

These experiences can bring sadness, uncertainty, anger and a loss of direction.

Counselling gives you somewhere to work through those emotions and begin finding your way forward.

03

Relationships, Boundaries & Self-Worth

Perhaps you struggle to say no, worry about disappointing people or find yourself taking responsibility for everyone else’s happiness.

Maybe you’re navigating conflict, separation or a relationship that’s leaving you emotionally exhausted.

We can explore what’s happening, strengthen your boundaries and help you reconnect with your own needs, values and sense of self.

04

Confidence, Identity & Finding Yourself Again

There are times in life when we begin questioning who we are and what we want.

This can be particularly common during midlife, when so much of our identity has been wrapped up in work, relationships, parenting or caring for others.

Together, we can explore what matters to you now, challenge beliefs that may be holding you back and begin making choices that feel more aligned with the person you want to be.

More Than Just Talking

Talking things through can be incredibly valuable. Sometimes simply having someone listen, without judgement or expectation, makes an enormous difference.

But I also believe counselling can be a place where understanding leads to practical change.

Depending on your needs, our sessions may include mindfulness, emotional processing, self-compassion, reflection, boundary-setting and behaviour change strategies.

We’ll look at what you can begin doing differently between sessions, so the insights you gain aren’t left behind when our conversation ends.

Counselling That Meets You Where You Are

You don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what’s wrong or what you want to work on.

Sometimes all you know is that something doesn’t feel right.

That’s enough to begin a conversation.

My role is to help you make sense of what you’re experiencing, support you through the difficult moments and work alongside you as you begin making meaningful changes in your life.

The goal isn’t to become someone else.

It’s to feel more comfortable, confident and connected to yourself, while developing the skills to navigate life’s challenges.
